For awhile now we’ve considered creating the Happy Valley Moms Blog that is associated with the ever popular Happy Valley Moms Facebook group. Not only has HVM become popular among moms, it’s now a safe haven for dads as well.

It’s not just parents though, we receive countless requests to join our group. From business owners, student researchers, babysitters, and everything in between. We try to keep the group to parents but there’s a vast number of local residents that could benefit from the abundance of information that Happy Valley Moms offers.

So, enter the Happy Valley Moms Blog. This is where we hope non-parents will be able to reap the benefits of HVM Facebook group while the group remains for parents only. Our hope is this website will be a resource for local events, opportunities, and of course, parenting tips, tricks, and advice.

We have a lot of hopes for this website, but for now you’re stuck with writings from us. Our primary goal is to give you riveting material that you will wake each day itching to read. Our second goal is to get others to contribute to the website, to help create a local events calendar, help with writing posts, and help with web design.

Which leads us to our final goal, monetizing the website. We don’t want to keep up with affiliate links, we’re hoping to offer ad space to local businesses. But don’t get your hopes up yet! Give us time to build and make sure we’ll be able to keep up with this happy little space.

Will these above goals happen? We honestly don’t know. The Happy Valley Moms admins have a lot on our plates with kids, work, and the HVM Facebook page But, it will be fun to try! So, here we are, the Happy Valley Moms Blog, welcome and enjoy!
